Addresses are sometimes abbreviated upon saving

When saving a shipping address, you may notice that sometimes elements of the address are abbreviated after saving. This is not an error and is in fact the address returned by the verification service of the post office.

Examples of abbreviations made to make shipping more efficient are:

CASTLE AIR FORCE BASE > CASTLE AFB

SAN LUIS OBISPO > SN LUIS OBISP

FORT HUNTER LIGGETT > FT HNTR LGGT

LIVE OAK SPRINGS > LIVE OAK SPGS

SANTA FE SPRINGS > SANTA FE SPGS
