Labels are automatically voided during shipping.

Issue:

Labels are being automatically voided and the corresponding shipment deleted with the following error added in the return comments: 

"Shipment deleted. Previous tracking number was 794675653660."

Fix:

Please check the following values under Printer Settings:

1. Label Printer

2. Label Type

The Setting "Open as PDF" cannot be combined with the Label Type "ZPL."

If you wish to open labels as PDF files, change the Label Type to "Normal."

To Do:

We're in the process of implementing a change that would prevent this combination. 

Example: If your printer is set as "Open in PDF," then the label would be saved as "PNG" which is the normal type, automatically.

Or, at least, an error would be shown to prevent this specific combination from being saved in the printer settings.
